Runnin' For My LIfe

RUNNIN’ FOR MY LIFE is a song I wrote, produced and had the pleasure to produce and edit the music video for my first time. This is my first work I’ve edited on my own as well work that subtly introduces the world to who I am. It blends past southern Black roots with the present New Renaissance of Hip Hop through the eyes of Rehd. This tune follows Ballad (Intro to EP, Passion - Rehd) with the essence of an old Black church hymn I used to sing as a boy along with my grandmother. RFML symbolizes self approval of myself, past, present, future and end to decades of depression.

Director Biography - Romeiro Davis

I've directed three music videos of my own (Quiznii, Runnin for my Life, Chill Out) and one (1) short film (Afri). Though in front of the camera, I tend to be behind it as well. As I continue to make art, I aim to tighten up on my preparation to produce better quality of work before, promoting messages of genuine love and respect for self and others thru my eye lens. This work is made from my pockets with thoughts of a better future for all. I push very hard while juggling many other things in life, but my work "ain't no bum bitxh shxt".
