Born in Miami, Florida, Cameron Tavakoly had a love of films instilled in him from an early age. After choosing to walk away from engineering to follow his passion for filmmaking, he now studies at the University of Miami making films with his fellow filmmakers and friends.
So this was my first attempt at a "big" film that I made to end my first semester as a film student. It was the most preparation and production work I had done up to that point. I've always been a fan of 80's action movies, good and bad, and hoped to create a fun world where I can recreate that magic. Sprinkle in a little inspiration from my high school teacher's home videos he made as a kid and you got yourself "Run, Boy."
