Rudhi
Rudhi is a story of an ancient tribal instrument, perchance originating in the remote Narmada River valley of India, that spread to distant regions, to eventually be replicated and morphed into different forms, and become the forebearer of many modern instruments. This instrument over the ages went extinct and was revived by a researcher who lived with the tribe.
Filmed primarily in Pawari, a language at the risk of disappearing, the film touches upon the Pawara theology, folk music, and songs which too are being forgotten. The film also portrays the fast-depleting tradition of 'Bhavai' a folk art from Gujarat, India.

He has spent years living with the Pawara community in the Narmada River Valley, being adopted as a family member.
