Sam Rowland-Lê is an Independent film-maker based in London. With over 15 years experience creating documentary and commercial films he continues to work at all scales from self-shooting director/editor to directing large crews for global TVCs.
I’d been following Dan Lawson and his achievements as an ultrarunner for a while online and was always impressed with the commitment and passion he and his partner Charlotte showed to their charity project ReRun. ReRun was a project that saved running equipment from going to landfill by repairing/up-cycling items then finding new homes for them. When Dan started Rubbish Shoes last year, an offshoot of Rerun, I saw the opportunity to finally make a film with him and help spread their message about over-consumption, sustainability and brand green-washing.
