Mr. Garton has been involved in the film and television sector since his childhood at age 12. Roy has appeared in over 25 films, television series,and commercials. Today, Mr. Garton continues to make indie short films with more time spent behind the camera instead of front of but still enjoy acting when he gets the opportunity to do so.

Roy's first acting role was in 1967 as an atmosphere core extra in the ABC western, The Monroes. His Mother was child day care sitter on set for Tammy Locke who played Amy Monroe to whom he is still friends with to this day. Mr. Garton's second short film, The Wrong Lane has been to 10 festivals and has become a finalist or won in 3 of them.
