This short is an adaptation of the poem 'Forever Homesick' by -S. 'It's hard to be at home in two different places at once'.
The experience of feeling at home in two different countries is difficult to articulate. Many people share this sentiment but struggle to express it. It's not about preferring one place over the other; it's about the complex sense of belonging to both yet fully to neither. This film seeks to capture this nuanced experience by adapting a poem and presenting it through the eyes of a Sri Lankan Tamil who came to the UK as a refugee.
