Rospuutto 4K
Can there be beauty in ugliness? Rospuutto means thaw. Frost is melting and reveals all the scars and fractures. This is something quite opposite what we have learned to see from drone and aerial footages. Spring time is not pretty here in Finland but the textures are rich. This time of year is grey, dirty and even though everything seems dead, ground offers deep earthy colors and structures which are very good material for UHD resolutions.
This is my first 4K movie. It was made during one Easter day. I made a trip with my car and gathered all these aerial shots and in the evening I edited it. It just came out of me. April can be cruel but in light of its promises it can be comforting.
