Rosemary
This surrealist conceptual film attempts to explore the feelings of timelessness and listlessness experienced in isolation. Grief and loneliness are portrayed through a looping arc that dissolves into the saturated colors of a digital age where contact is restricted to intermittent bubbles on a screen.

Aidan and Serafina Delgass, a brother and sister team from Weston, Connecticut, began filmmaking while stuck in their hometown during the COVID-19 lockdowns. Their debut film, "Rosemary," explores themes of grief and directionlessness while in isolation.
Rosemary is the scent of a funeral. Overpowering, dizzying, but so very rich. Mourning loved ones and coping with loneliness during lockdown can feel both monotonous and overwhelming. We tried to create that sense of both unease and monotony with this film, as well as explore the ways we seek direction and purpose in such a situation.
