Brazilian artist – female director, choreographer, dancer, dance teacher, has been directing her Núcleo de Criação (NCRA) since 2013.
She has been carrying out audiovisual projects since 2020, such as video dances, video performances, experimental films and short films.
Graduated in classical ballet at Centro Mineiro de Danças Clássicas (1995), with specialization at Centro Pro Danza in Cuba (1996) and Palucca Schule Tanz Dresden in Germany (1998).
She worked at the Chemnitz and Erfurt Theater, in Germany and, in Brazil, at the Balé da Cidade de São Paulo, Grupo de Dança 1° Ato, Mimulus Cia de Dança and Cia Mário Nascimento.
She created the “Trilogia do Feminino”, three dance and theater solos that discuss issues of contemporary women. They are “Wild Woman” (2010), “The Dress” (2013) and “The Woman Who Spit Out the Apple” (2015), the latter, directed by Italian actress Roberta Carreri, debuting at Odin Teatret, in Holstebro, in Denmark. She traveled with them all over Brazil, in the main theaters and festivals and at the invitation of the Dança em Trânsito Festival, he presented "The Dress" in Paris, during an artistic residency.
Since 2003, she works at Cia Mário Nascimento as a dancer, teacher and currently also shares the direction of the group with choreographer Mário Nascimento. She signed the choreographies “Dança de Brinquedo” (2018), “Garrafa Enforcada” (2016, together with Mário Nascimento) and “Aque Ponto Chegamos” (2016).
She also signed several choreographies for CEFART (Clóvis Salgado Foundation Artistic Training Center, Belo Horizonte, MG), for Grupo Êxtase (Viçosa, MG) and for Cia de Dança Mitzi Marzzutti, in Vitória (ES).
She directed the play "De Perfumes e Sonhos" (2011), by herself and also the play "Ciranda das Horas" (2013), produced by Juana Miranda, in Brasília (DF).
She is in the process of creating the shows "Rios Voadores" for the Corps of Dance of Amazonas (AM), "Dançando Villa", for the Curitiba Cia de Dança (PR) and "As Damas de Llangollen" with choreographer Flávia Tápias (RJ ).
Since 2020, she has a partnership with composer Makely Ka, who signs all of his original scores.
The Núcleo de Criação Rosa Antuña was born in 2013, with the aim of carrying out artistic projects that sought the dialogue between dance, theater, audiovisual, circus, music, visual arts, cinema and literature. His first production was the Trilogy of the Feminine.
Her most recent productions are the video dances created during the pandemic "O Abajur, a Cadeira e a Rosa" (Minas Arte em Casa), "Entre Duas Paredes tem uma Mulher Dançando" (Funarte Respirarte), "Solos Selvagens" (LAB MG) , "Entre Paredes e Janelas" (Arte Salva, “O Vigia” (Horizons Urbanos Festival). All with direction and choreography by Rosa Antuña and soundtrack by composer Makely Ka.
In June 2021, NCRA held the "1st Exhibition and Seminar The Art of Choreography", fully online.
