Roots

Roots is the project launched in 2019 by the Association for the Integration of Women (AIW), founded by Caroline Caporossi.

The project aims to create concrete employment opportunities for migrant women in Modena. Roots thus becomes a meeting place, an incubator of the future, founded by Caroline herself, Maria Assunta Ioele and Canadian Jessica Rosval, chef of Casa Maria Luigia by Massimo Bottura, as well as Roots' culinary director. Within this environment, which during the day is a co-working space, in the evening a true multicultural restaurant comes alive, a crossroads of traditions brought to the Modenese table.
