Director Biography - Samar Abdelaty

• Assistant Director in two feature documentaries "خان المُعلم ..معًا على الطريق" by Ahmed Rashwan
"في مكان آخر" by Ghada Ali (still in the shooting stage).

• Assistant Director in the feature film (قابل للكسر) by Ahmed Rashwan 2018
• Assistant director in two short films "ألوان الطيف" directed by Loai Galal and "The Blue Whale" directed by Ghada Ali - Shnit International Short Film Festival.

• I finished my first short film (كماشة) as a writer and director

• My short story, “رسالتان من الحياة والموت” was published in Al-Thaqafa Al-Jadidah magazine, March 2023 issue
• I wrote a play called "Shadow" and it was published as part of the Back Streets Festival's Dhafair 2 project in 2014.

• Currently, I am working as a short story writer for the websites raseef22 "رصيف 22" and “sadazakera” "صدى ذاكرة القصة المصرية"
