The Rohingya genocide refers to the systematic persecution and violence inflicted upon the Rohingya minority in Myanmar by the country's military and security forces, starting around 2016. The violence intensified in August 2017, leading to a mass exodus of Rohingya people fleeing to neighboring Bangladesh and other countries.

Director Biography - Massum Khan, Jania Kabir

Jenia Kabir is currently a senior reporter at Times Media Limited, Channel-24, in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She previously worked as a news reporter for Ekkator Media Limited, Channel-71, also in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She has won a Frontline Journalism Award from the American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh.
