With 10 years in audiovisual, he started his career working as a videomaker with mini-documentaries for the UOL website and video clips for independent artists.

For 3 years he has been working as film director and cinematographer.

Together with a post director, he created the directing duo Kactus.
The duo has a clinical look at aesthetics, and transitions very well between directing actors, photography and design, producing sensorial films, always seeking a narrative approach to the creation of the film. They worked with major agencies such as Wiedden Kennedy and Leo Burnett, directing films for Fiat, C&A and Veloe. In the video clip market, they worked with great artists from the Brazilian hip hop scene such as Stefanie and Flora Matos. In fashion, they directed films for PACE, RYZI, DL STORE and LED, brazilian brands.

Rodrigo won the LATAM WAN-IFRA award with a documentary series made for UOL ESPORTE, which talk about LGBTQIA+ issues in Russia, which hosted the world cup.
