Director Statement

The unique perspective of the film lies in the special relationship between father and son, which acts as the cornerstone of the short movie. It's fascinating to show what the dynamic between the two of us looks like - how we might bicker at times or enjoy the silence in the next moment. Having walked the Camino de Santiago myself at 1, and my father extensively researching it because of this, I am the reason he is so familiar with the pilgrimage route. Yet, the film focuses on him, Robert. The dramatically prepared stages of the journey reveal honest thoughts and anecdotes that highlight Robert's multifaceted personality. A story of closeness, identity, and the significance of shared journeys.
