Vivien McNab is 12 years old in 7th grade at PSIS 187 in Washington Heights, NYC. She is French-American, born in NYC. McNab loves art, plays soccer and the flute as well as loves making films. She plays a wizard in a bi-monthly Dungeons and Dragons game with her friends where she gets a lot of her creative inspiration. She has been active for several years in her school's annual 187 Film Festival. This is her first animated short film.
I got the inspiration from a trip my mom and I took to Rome to visit a friend. My mom dragged me to see the Colosseum and Palatine Hill. After being with a tour group I wanted to get away so we split from the group thinking we could get out faster. We ended up getting lost and it took us a very long time to find our way out. I had made a few short films already but wanted to try an animation because I wanted to test my skills as a cartoonist.
