Road Trip with my Father to Find Myself
I hit the lowest moment of my life, the rock bottom where I never thought that I would be. I took my camera and flew to visit my father back to my beautiful country of origin, Colombia.
We went on a week-long road trip, during that trip while seeing the amazing nature that Colombia has to offer while enjoying the scenery and silent power of healing that nature gives; my soul started to regroup into a stronger and wiser person. There were not many words shared, a lot of inward thinking, the most comforting companionship, and the power of photography to document a pivotal moment in my life.

I am a native of Colombia raised in the United States; my background is a fusion of Colombian and American roots and traditions. I am a federal employee, working as a program manager. I also pride myself in working on providing fine contemporary art services to my community in the form of photography, paintings, and drawings. My art is thought-provoking; not only visually, but also by my ability to tell a story that goes along with it.
Capturing special moments through art is one of my biggest passions. My passion for photography began when I was a little girl, and I still take my artistry with love and responsibility. My work mission is to bring awareness to important issues about wildlife, sustainability, diversity, life, nature, God, and conservation.
