Rivesaltes "Short Film"


Before the advance of the Francoist troops, Jaime (50), a Republican soldier, and his trench companions, leave the front and go to France, but once there they are arrested by the Nazis, and transferred to a concentration camp. There, Jaime meets Krak, a Nazi soldier with a prisoner brother in the same concentration camp. Jaime and Krak exchange their identities so that the second can find his brother. Jaime begins to release five prisoners per night, but the leaks do not go unnoticed by Nazi generals. After investigating the disappearances, Shönk, a Nazi general, orders the execution of Jaime, while Luis dies in the gas chamber.

Director Biography - Marc Zaragoza

Director que con tan solo 18 años ha conseguido ser un referente entre las nuevas promesas del cine de nuestro país. Hasta el momento ha realizado magníficos cortometrajes obteniendo varias nominaciones, a nivel nacional e internacional dirigiendo también la tramoya del Musical "El Rey León" en Valencia.

Sus cortos con los que ha obtenido más reconocimiento han sido, entre otros, "Cena Familiar" y "Rivesaltes", este último realizado en Abril de 2018 con actores de la talla de Juan Gea, Valentín Paredes y Alfred Picó.

Actualmente se encuentra realizando su primer largometraje "Enemigo Fiel" contando ya con la participación de los actores Henar Frías y Rubén Tobías, Abdelatif Hwidar (Goya) quienes confían plenamente en el proyecto.

Director Statement

Director who with only 18 years has managed to be a reference among the new promises of cinema in our country. So far he has made magnificent short films obtaining several nominations, nationally and internationally, also directing the musical stage "The Lion King" in Valencia.

His shorts with which he has obtained more recognition have been, among others, "Family Dinner" and "Rivesaltes", the latter made in April 2018 with actors such as Juan Gea, Valentín Paredes and Alfred Picó.

He is currently making his first feature film "Enemy Faithful" with the participation of actors Henar Frías and Rubén Tobías, Abdelatif Hwidar (Goya) who fully trust the project.
