River F.R Kennedy was born in Freemont, Michigan before moving to the small rural town of Luther. Growing up River enjoyed playing outside and watching old westerns with his grandpa. It's here the seeds were planted for his passion for filmmaking. Throughout Highschool River would participate in every drama production both on stage and behind. He even wrote and directed 3 local short plays for his high school. It wasn't until he accidentally took an elective class called Radio/TV that his love for filmmaking would finally shine. From directing and producing the school news program to making commercials for local radio and finally making his first short film called Tape 32 where he won Best Filmmaker in 2017. He would follow his passion into college where he studied visual arts and would continue to make short films in the years after college.
