Rivals

Rivals is a short narrative about realisation and self-improvement.

Whatever we do, wherever we are, there is always someone that is better than us at something.

Be it basketball, drawing, singing, writing, directing, or photography. We don't know what benefits they had that we did not, or what trials and tribulations they experienced.

We often find ourselves competitively comparing ourselves to what they are doing, to their successes and achievements. This external focus prevents us from growing, it keeps us stagnant.

Every athlete, every artist, every person will find themselves down this rabbit hole at one point in their career.

But when we focus internally on what we can control and push ourselves to take risks, learn and grow, we will erase the notion of rivalry and reach heights we never thought possible.
