Rites at a Distance
A ritual performance-to-video taking place on, in, under, and around the desk.
"Bibliomancy is the use of books in divination. The method of employing sacred books for 'magical medicine', for removing negative entities, or for divination..."
Words chanced upon from chapter IV of Mircea Eliade's _Shamanism: Archaic Techniques of Ecstasy_:
"Ascending: a being devoted. That future climb; we shall see reach a great jar. Two small ladders; two masters admitted. Unable...yet. Ascent/return constitutes the essential act. To say nothing!? To fly!? To perch!? (could jump) Would have been too weak (remained to possess). The doctor lies on his back. According, clever; lying on his back. His cord! His head! Body! Legs! Arms! Arriving! And then!? On his back!? Re-entered fail structure. We shall study."
