Rite of spring

The portrayal of a friendship through the framework of a
performative traditional practice of Croatian bellmen – a custom
that has its roots in paganistic rituals of southern Slavs – which
excludes our queer selves from participating while simultaneously
calling for the fertility of our bodies. 
Nature is our anarchistic utopia, where the ultimate law is our
cheeky mischievous tenderness towards each other and a naive
and playful approach to something seen as very serious. We find
our sense of belonging in each other’s presence.
