Experiencing Interruptions?

Richmond

I visited my favourite area of London, Richmond Park, during January 2020. This magical place provides tranquility and peace for millions of Londoners.

Director Biography - Thea Bronlund

Hi, I'm Thea and I absolutely love photography and filmmaking. Haven’t you ever wished you could capture an exact moment and include the feeling you had in a photograph? Maybe you’ve even tried to, only to discover it didn’t quite translate to the picture as you thought it would. I want to help you with this. I want you to be able to keep those memories so that you can continue to treasure them forever.
The story of how it all started...
I’ll try to keep it short because this is not my autobiography after all. But, it’s still important how I got to where I am today. You see, for me photography is something precious. Every time I hold a camera I feel like a kid again, overjoyed with excitement and I am yet to see a day where I tire of the process. It is truly my greatest passion, and I want to share it with you.

I grew up on a small island on the west coast of Norway. My grandparents used to take me camping all around Scandinavia which is probably also where my love for travelling began. As soon as I legally could (and to my parents despair), I booked a solo ticket to Zimbabwe to volunteer and experience something completely new. Along with me I brought my first ever DSLR, a Canon 550D and two lenses. Africa truly opened up my eyes to photography. I was moved by the work I witnessed within wildlife conservation and the amazing people I met along the way. I wanted to capture it all with my camera! So that’s what I did, I captured it all. Going home I did not only bring with me memories to last a life time, but also fantastic photos to keep with me forever. I did, however, only return with one lens (r.i.p.), but that's a story for another day...
Today, I have spent 4 years working in a leading Finance & Media corporation in London, and by night I put on my lens (cape) and search the city for destinations and people in need of me capturing their everlasting moments.
