Rhoya
Rhoya is a 27 year old woman who makes and sells ‘dream-boxes’. It’s a product the size of a ring box, meant for children. When opened, inside is a picture of your role model. If you are a dreamer and in your struggle when you face doubts and failures, you are to open the box and look at the picture of your role model. This will remind you of your purpose and bring back your will to work harder. Rhoya has been struggling to sell these boxes for more than a year now but there seem to be no takers. All that keeps her going is her father’s philosophy of perseverance.
But then when even he, the man who had always inspired her to keep going, commits suicide, Rhoya’s world is turned upside down. Her endeavor hasn’t borne any fruit. Should she take up something else or should she keep trying harder? Her belief in the very thing that she has been selling to people, is wavering. When exactly do you grow up and let go of your dreams?
A broken Rhoya takes a journey back to her house to attend her father’s funeral. She now has to face the ghost of expectations that she had left behind. The experience answers all her questions and changes her perspective. Her dream had never been an impossibility. She had just been doing it wrong the whole time.

The film is being made by a small bunch of people who are all alumni of Symbioisis Institute of Media and Communication, Pune. Since years we had been working on several different things but soon we thought that we should do what we had come to Mumbai for- Make a film. But we lacked the resources. As they say, where there is a will, there is a way. The movie is crowd funded, many people believed in this story and helped us achieve what become your goal. This film is made on a shoe-string budget and it took us 4 long years to finish this film, with our limited resources. While we cannot say for anything else, but the story will surely strike a chord and connect. And this is something we truly believe in.
