After the killing of George Floyd, New Yorkers took to the streets claiming for justice. The massive demonstrations happened in the middle of the pandemic. My film is a window to the exchanges and interactions that occurred during those protests.

Director Biography - Silvina Sterin Pensel

Multiplatform journalist and producer, Silvina Sterin Pensel, carries her mobile office in her fanny pack; including her iPhone, her selfie stick & multiple chargers. A reporter and a true New Yorker, Ms. Sterin Pensel arrived in NYC two weeks prior 9/11 to complete a Masters in Journalism at NYU; which she got in 2003. She has been working non-stop ever since trying to make a difference with her videos.

Black Lives Matter is not a slogan, it's a movement comprised of thousands of people -African American and many, many whites as well- who are tired of having to add name after name to the list of black people killed in the USA by Police Brutality and excessive use of force.
