Julius grew up on the mean streets of Copenhagen, Denmark. He was dishonorably discharged from Officer Academy in the Danish Royal Army and decided to pursue filmmaking, first as a cinematographer and editor, then writer and director.
He's written and directed fiction and documentary films in Denmark, Australia and The US. His films are intense dramas focusing on a strong European cinema verité with naturalistic performances and American narrative drive.
Julius holds a master's in directing from the American Film Institute in Los Angeles and a BA in Film and Media Sciences from the University of Copenhagen.
His latest writer/director effort, Australian set web series and feature film, GREENFIELD, was nominated for a Webby Award as well as winning multiple awards around the world.
This short has been tailored for Omeleto. Please let us know if you would like any changes that we can make to help it thrive on your channel. We did upload the short once under a different name on YT. So if we make the OMELETO cut, as soon as we hear we will take that down. I've made it a private video at this point. Thanks Team!

Danish Director Julius Telmer takes a look at an untold story in Australian history. His Danish film making style paired with the Australian landscape and culture make perfect partners.
"I'm from Europe so I have heard many stories about WW2, but when we found out about this, all the way over in Australia, people locked up in camps? I just.. What?! And no one knows about this secret, so I was compelled to tell this story with my writer Daniel Tenni."
