Director Statement

I think the moment I realized I had to make this film wasn’t when I (once again) burst into tears in front of the teacher, but rather when she pulled out a box of tissues and said, “You wouldn’t believe how many parents cry here.”

This film is for those parents. It aims to capture the quiet undercurrents of empathy and expectation that shape us. Told in a nuanced, everyday, and sometimes funny way—just like life.

I hope you’ll give it a chance.
