Inbal Voitiz is a Boston-based filmmaker with an MFA in Film and Television from Tel Aviv University. Her first short film, Day Eight, has been screened at international film festivals. She studied psychology and neuroscience, completed an MBA, co-founded the video collaboration startup LookAt, and served as an Executive Producer at Gravity Production House.
I think the moment I realized I had to make this film wasn’t when I (once again) burst into tears in front of the teacher, but rather when she pulled out a box of tissues and said, “You wouldn’t believe how many parents cry here.”
This film is for those parents. It aims to capture the quiet undercurrents of empathy and expectation that shape us. Told in a nuanced, everyday, and sometimes funny way—just like life.
I hope you’ll give it a chance.
