Rendezvous Film Festival at Amelia Island will celebrate it's 11th year September 20-22, 2018 - and in honor of that celebration, Rendezvous has partnered with AMC Orange Park 24 and the Orange Park Mall, FL to bring you ScareFest. ScareFest will screen at the AMC Orange Park 24 November 1-3, 2018. After parties and events will be hosted by the Orange Park Mall. Submissions can range from family friendly to your worst nightmares. And since we're a Florida Festival - there will be a filmed in Florida block and a Student Block to help promote future filmmakers.

We've got your standard awards: Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Kid & Best in Each Category

And then for fun - because what's a horror movie without a few things like: Best Sound Effects, Best Special Effects, Best Practical Effects, Best Kill, Scariest, Campiest, Most Original

We reserve the right to omit a particular award if we didn't receive enough entries in that category or if none of the submissions met our high judging standards. If we deem it appropriate, additional categories of awards may be presented.

Laurels in JPG format will be sent to all nominees and winners. Best Director, Best Film, Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Child Actor will receive trophies while Best in other categories will receive certificates. The festival will not mail trophies if the winner isn't present unless the winner makes arrangements with the festival.

For all filmmakers present at their screening, the festival will be splitting the door ticket sales between the festival and the filmmakers in that block of screenings
