Remi Gangarossa, a native of Buffalo, New York, found inspiration for his first film, Marilyn’s Dark Paradise, during difficult personal circumstances that happened almost 10 years ago.
Obsessed with the concept of time, he spent the better part of a decade crafting a time travel film that respectfully and accurately pays tribute to Norma Jeane, who became the icon known to the world as Marilyn Monroe.
For this film, Gangarossa draws on a broad range of skills as a director, producer, writer, actor, and editor with a commitment to detail that knows no bounds. He has the uncanny ability to source unknown artists and unite their efforts toward one common goal: to illuminate a rarely seen side of his idol.
