If you had a chance to change the past, would you take it?

The 'Relive Short Film' follows the story of a timid and naive law student who wakes up to discover that she is stuck in a loop and experiencing the same day repeatedly. Her knowledge of her newfound power doesn't protect her from being bullied by an overbearing roommate nor does it make her bold enough to challenge her mother on whose insistence she is studying law. Too inhibited to truly make the best use of her leverage, she goes through the same mundane motions until tragedy strikes via a sexual assault. With vengeance on her mind, she finally faces up to her 'superpowers' and decides to bring her assaulter to justice.

Relive subtly addresses violence against women and the rationale that the victim is to be blamed for sexual assault.

Director Statement

I wanted to shoot a story about violence against women which is an ongoing problem in my country but I needed to send my message in an artistic medium. I worked on the story in other to ensure it was subtle but dramatic and immersive all at once. I relied on the use of visual mediums to tell my story and the audience has to pay attention and make their own deductions. Relive subtly addresses violence against women and the rationale that the victim is to be blamed for sexual assault intertwined in a story about second chances and the opportunity to make different choices.
