Experiencing Interruptions?

Relax, Just Breathe

Relax, Just Breathe describes a journey from depression to optimism. The refrain “Relax, Just Breathe” gets stronger as the protagonists inner monologue of self-doubt gets quieter and insignificant.
As a semi-autobiographical piece, it demonstrates the artist’s journey and celebrates the help of his partner in overcoming obstacles. Relax, Just Breathe is shown at 24fps despite being shot at 18fps. The frenetic movement that comes from the increased speed deliberately contrasts with the tempo of the music and makes the viewer uncomfortable, then joyful as the film progresses.
Relax, Just Breathe was shot on Super 8 Tri-X Black and White reversal film and is meant to be projected on celluloid.
