The Reflections of Spirit International Film Festival is the annual film festival held in Erlagen, in the city of Nuremberg, Germany and has grown to be one of the foremost and important film festivals in the city.
Neither Heraclitus nor Georg Buchner could realize what fascinating bridges connecting dreams and the real life have been created in our times. One of those bridges named Cinema connects two worlds: dreams and reality. Cinema can be considered not only as a bridge, but also as a mirror of spiritual development. This mirror precisely reflects the spirit of our time. Whether the spirit is still in the “mirror stage” or not, nobody can say. Our goal is to show many reflections of the spirit gathered from the whole world. Cinema speaks all languages and could also be considered as a bridge connecting different cultures. This was also the reason why our festival has been organized as a part of multi-cultural week in Erlagen, Germany.
The festival showcases short features and documentaries from all over the world. It mainly focuses on provocative, innovative films produced not only by film school students, but also by independent film-makers.
