Reel Works inspires, mentors, and trains diverse generations of young filmmakers, building the skills necessary to access successful careers in film and entertainment. We braid peerless arts education with workforce development, providing free filmmaking programs, 1:1 mentoring, and job training for 1,700 students annually.

Rules & Terms
-At least one principal production position (Writer, Producer, Director, Director of Photography, or Editor) must be ages 14-24
-At least one principal production position (Writer, Producer, Director, Director of Photography, or Editor) must be New York City based
-Maximum 15 minutes in length
-Can submit a narrative, documentary, or animated short about any topic.
