Recyclable Roy - Toy Design

This is Recyclable Roy, a magnetic super robot designed to protect the environment and serve as a role model for eco-friendliness to the next generation. I designed and modeled this toy for my 3D Hard Surface Modeling class. The task was to conceptualize and create a toy with moving parts while considering the audience/age group, the style/genre of the toy, the materials to construct it, and an advertisement to accompany it.

I would want this toy to be sustainable by any means possible, such as giving it away as a hand-me-down, donated, or recycled. With this toy, however, I see potential in communicating a powerful message to the younger generation. I want people to consider the sources of the products they buy and use and the ethics behind their manufacturing and development.

All aspects of the audio including the foley, sound effects, and the music were done by me.
