Records of The Dai Water Festival in Dehong

Shangjingkan Village, located in Dehong Prefecture of Yunnan Province, is a village with outstanding cultural characteristics of Dai nationality. Water-Splashing festival is the grand traditional festival of Dais in every April, is also the most important celebration in this village.  As an external observer, the author lived in this village during the whole festival , experienced the special elements and rituals of this festival, recorded relevant video research materials, had in-depth interactions with local residents, and made an deep exploration and thinking. The film uses audiovisual language to record and express in the way of ethnographic film creation. It records each behavior process and a large number of details of the festival， reflects the changes of traditional Festival under the influence of external culture in this village.  And also has made a certain anthropological filming record about Water-Splashing Festival in Shangjingkan Village.
