Born and raised in Puerto Rico and now living in Brooklyn, New York, Mario Rubén Carrión is a film director, editor & photographer. Since falling in love with street photography in his early 20's, Mario has been on a journey of capturing moments that has now brought him to his biggest love yet- filmmaking. Having worked in the NYC LatinX cultural scene for the past decade, Mario's inspired by the untold stories of his people, both in the island and in the diaspora. Such is the case with his first short film: "Record Shop".
