Rebound: Lazychair

The song "Laiskanlinna"(English tittle: "Lazychair") tells a story where the main character is tired of bad news and a hectic life in which he feels like an outsider. He wants to spend a moment in peace, in his own bubble. His own space is an old lazychair where worries and troubles can't reach him.
When we started thinking about the video for the song, we wanted to tell a different story. We wanted to tell the story of an unknown band down on their luck, experiencing the dark side of show business. The band tries to achieve something great, but on their journey towards respect and better opportunities, they encounter many obstacles. A car that barely works, audiences uninterested in their music and performance, electric shocks, and a manager who tries to skim their money.
This video is a tribute to the millions of musicians who work for years without major success. Yet, in almost every bar, there's a band giving their all to win over the audience. What would the world be like without music?
The song "Laiskanlinna" can be found on Rebound's fantastic fifth album, "Tarmo". It has been released as a beautiful colored vinyl and in CD format, but also on digital platforms. It's full of wonderful songs, each better than the last. Highly recommended!
