Belfast based filmmaker
Rebekah is a filmmaker from Belfast, Northern Ireland. She is an experienced director, editor and self-shooter, with particular interest in documentary filmmaking.
She recently studied cinematography and documentary filmmaking at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
To date Rebekah has written and directed two short fiction films - Sparrow (2017) and Shout Out (2022).
Rebekah has also directed several short films for RTÉ Storyland, Indie Movie Company, Lacada Entertainment, BBC and Out of Orbit - Snapshots (2017), Social Influence (2018), My Favourite Paul (2019), Bring Back Laura (2020) and Heaven Come In (2021).
She has also worked as the 2nd Unit Director on Series 3 of Almost Never (2021).
Rebekah has also made several short documentaries - The Beauty of a Wall (2022), Maegden (2023) and Carlos (post-production). In 2021 Rebekah made several videos for the CBBC YouTube Channel, on the behind the scenes of Series 3 of Almost Never.
Rebekah also works as a camera assistant in fiction and factual. Credits include Dungeons & Dragons (2023), Blue Lights (2023), and Housejackers (2023).
