Jason Julian Ngangi was born in Jakarta on October 9th, 2001. Jason found his interest in the film industry after he joined the photography extracurricular when he was in his sophomore year of high school. Jason, almost entirely self-taught, began to hone and implement his videography skills in a number of school projects as his fondness for photography grew. Jason was also recruited by his high school’s documentation team and was finally entrusted to be the head of the team. For two years, Jason was in charge of leading the documentation team and actively participating in making videos and taking pictures at many of the events held by his high school. Furthermore, the chance to lead the documentation team also set up further opportunities for Jason to develop skills in filmmaking. Jason participated in a short movie competition for the first time which Prasetya Mulya University held in 2017. Throughout the competition, Jason played several roles: film director, scriptwriter, cameraman, and editor. Finally, following his graduation from high school, Jason Finally, following his graduation from high school, Jason continued his study and pursued his bachelor's degree in Film at the Multimedia Nusantara University. Since 2021, he has been working in a production house called Persepsi Film.
One has to learn to be happy without depending on other people's presence.
