Director Biography - Jasmyn Green

I started my theatre journey in college at the University of Alabama, then transferred and graduated from Bowling Green State University. I got to be a part of productions like “For Colored Girls”, “Looking For My Boaz”, “I Want A Husband, Will You Marry Me?”, “Come Alive”, and “Joseph Jones Funeral Home” in Atlanta, GA. Then, discovering a newfound high to write for the stage and screen, I have written and directed my own plays: “Glass Walls”, “The Stoop”, “Lie In The Bed You Make”, and “The List”. Most recently, turning “Lie In The Bed You Make” from a stage play into a web-series, I directed and shot 10 episodes this past year which can be seen on YouTube. This 2020 pandemic season has been dedicated to acting, writing, and directing as much content as I can whether it be short films, web series, stage plays, or full length features.
