Experiencing Interruptions?

Rear View

A man has been driving for days on end, but his past starts to catch up.

Filmed as Part of the Knoxville Film Festival 7 day shootout, Twin Pines Pictures proudly presents their Hitchcockian inspired short, Rear View! Written, filmed, and edited in 7 days we had our genre of ONE CHARACTER, to where only one character could speak in the film! We had to use three elements as well:
A FAMOUS MOVIE LINE
RUNNING WATER
AN ANIMAL SOUND

Hitchcock and Spielberg are huge influences to me. I wanted to set out and make a movie that Hitchcock would have made, in a way that Hitchcock would have made it. With a few sprinkles of Spielberg thrown in as well. With the limitations that a timed film competition provides, it provided some challenges to the production process including writing a movie in which only one character could be the focus and speak. Not to mention the three elements we had to include, a famous movie quote, moving water, and a sound an animal makes. I am extremely proud of how the movie turned out, but it wouldn't have happened without a dedicated crew that toughed 100+ temperatures to make this film happen.
