Realm of Silence

"Realm of Silence" tells about four statues which embellished a Queen's palace. Statues are supposedly inanimate objects. However this fashion film tells the other side of life in a palace, these four statues could move whenever the Queen wasn't around. Thus, at the beginning , this fashion film provides for audiences the scenes of four women who seem busy with their own activities. It starts when a woman/statue tries to find the source of a music (it shows when the film gradually changed the music instrument) . She tend not to care about her sorroundings, instead because of her curiosity, she walk towards the source of the sound while the others just busy on their own. While the Queen is on her way there, the three women/statues step on their pedestals and start to pose. But eventually, the last statue hasn’t yet appeared, they have to get off from the pedestals and hurry find the missing statue untill they can bring her back to where she bellongs. They are no longer themselves when the Queen comes.

If we observe closely, scene by scene gives audiences the idea of how these statues represent different kinds of characters as a human being. These characters also represent the identity of every dress designed by the twin designer , Janice & Benita. We believe that every person is unique and sometimes stands in contrast between one and another. However, this is what makes them special & irreplaceable. It is the diversity of colors in human character that radiates beauty from within.

One is mature, calm, and assertive and the other one is childish, innocent, and pure. But that is the charm. As for the main character that leads to the Queen, the wedding gown generates majestic and luxurious vibes that strengthens its overbearing aura. We believe that everyone has her own self-esteem that makes people respect and value their presence. Even if it is not shown explicitly, it would emanate from within . This theory leads us to create ‘Realm of Silence’.
