Realm 2 Series

In Realm 2, we follow the lives of various hopefuls, whose goal is similar even though their lives had never crossed.

The hopefuls are somehow are united in their need to meet with a
fortune teller who, through the powers she posses, offer the possibility of realizing their desires.

One of the hopefuls is Tianna and she has come to retrieve the Fortune tellers source of power. A necklace which was stolen from her by the same person who now render services to the hopefuls.

This five part series revolve around the subject of relationship and the hope of a better future.

Nobody should be altering the future but this is a compromise everyone in this series is willing to make - even the fortune teller.

Director Biography - Babatunde Faruk Agunloye

With a Bachelor of Political Science degree obtained and over 12 years of customer service experience gained, Babatunde made a huge career leap by pursuing a diploma in film production at the Toronto Film School.

Babatunde continues to build creative capacity as a script writer. He recently concluded work on a feature film screenplay which is currently in 2nd revision.

One of the short film written and directed by Babatunde – Third Scar, was nominated by a Toronto based film festival in the category of best Canadian short film.

Babatunde is highly sought after by filmmakers during development stage of their projects. This is for his knowledge in content creation, idea visualization as well as pre-production problem-solving skills.

Babatunde is a storyteller who wants to tell stories. So, he continually researches for better ways and strategies to, telling stories that are compelling and relatable. This is the passion that drives his creativity.

Babatunde is a committed follower of various scriptwriting platforms like the script lab and film courage to mention a few.

A self-driven and devoted filmmaker, Babatunde is patient and loves to work as part of a team.

His most recent works are Realm 2 series and PSALM I23I.

Director Statement

The Realm 2 series explores the theme of relationships and marriages. Specifically, it highlights how a demography is doing all they know to ensure that they set up a family structure that will validates a paradigm.

While these series might appear to offer help to people as they each decide on their relationship path, the underlying goal is to make aware, our similarity as humans, via our varying approaches to the subject of marital commitment or non-commitment.

These stories will be objective and open ended, allowing the audience come to term with what people do, relate to the characters and appreciate how vulnerable we all are.
