Welcome to "Rays Of Barcelona", a unique film festival that annually brings together film lovers, professionals and creative people from all over the world in the heart of sunny Barcelona.

"Rays Of Barcelona offers audiences the opportunity to enjoy masterpieces of auteur and independent cinema, presenting both local and international films. We aim to create a platform for the exchange of ideas and discussion of important social and cultural themes inspired by cinema.

The film festival also emphasizes new trends and experimental art, supporting young and emerging filmmakers. Each of the works presented penetrates the hearts of the audience, awakening emotions and making them think about many aspects of life.

At the annual festival "Rays Of Barcelona" will be shown projects award winners, as well as honourable mentions. In addition, award winners will have the opportunity to receive a physical award for their project during the event and all official selection will receive certificates and laurels for their project and they can also attend the movie screening.

Rules & Terms

All non-English language films must have English subtitles, except for Spanish language films.

The submitter must hold the rights to the submitted short film.

Students must provide a valid form of identification.

Participants will receive a free assessment sheet from the Festival Committee on the Notification Date.

The evaluation papers do not necessarily reflect the jury’s final decision.

Entry fees are non-refundable.

Once officially selected, authors cannot withdraw their work from the festival.

The festival may use trailers, teasers, posters, photos, and behind-the-scenes content for promotional purposes, but not the entire film under any circumstances.

By submitting a film to the festival, you grant permission for its screening and assume full legal responsibility for the film’s intellectual property. The submitter releases and indemnifies the festival from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses arising from copyright, trademark, credit, publicity, screening, and loss or damage to the submitted materials.

The jury’s decisions are final.
