Adventure, romance, drama, high stakes, all these contribute to a good ol western. The Tucumcari Rawhide Days Film Festival, in its first edition, celebrates all of these moments by showcasing the television show Rawhide, as well as other creations that embody that spirit of the southwest and westerns. From the lawless frontier towns to the beatniks who roamed Route 66.

This will be the 5th run of the famous Tucumcari Rawhide Days that have delighted attendees with live gunslinger performances, longhorn parades, and musical jamborees, but this year will be a double first! The first film festival for Tucumcari and Tucumcari Rawhide Days!

There will be two panels and one workshop. Topics under consideration!

Thank you Tucumcari Rawhide Days Film Festival for selecting and awarding my short film CHARLIE. TRDFF was extremely supportive of my AAPI Western and being a Local NM Filmmaker. I really wish I could have attended in person, but I'm motivated to make another western just in hopes to be selected again by TRDFF :) TRDFF had great communication about their event and seemed organized. Thank you Tucumcari Rawhide Days Film Festival! Organizations like yours help encourage indie filmmakers to feel seen and heard. Much appreciation!!
