Rapport Festival is an International African Diaspora (BLACK) arts festival that is here to redefine the artistic and cultural landscape of the UK.
By placing the spotlight on work created by African Diaspora practitioners and artists from multiple genres and art disciplines, the festival offers a unique platform that celebrates and elevates African Diaspora artistic expression from across the international diaspora.
The Rapport Festival is multidisciplinary. We embrace African Diaspora visual artists, musicians, dancers, DJs, spoken word & live performance artists, filmmakers, theatre makers, innovative creatives, agitators and all round movers & shakers.
We’re looking for films that touch upon the hybrid nature of the black African Diaspora experience throughout the world. We're particularly interested in submissions from filmmakers from: UK, Europe, South America, Caribbean, Canada, Asia and the Middle East.
All selected films win Rapport Festival Official Selection laurels.
You must have the legal right to submit the work and any supporting materials, and by submission you give us permission to screen the work at a Rapport Film Festival event and utilise supporting material in our programme, website, social media and promotional materials.
