Director Statement

Nobody knows your story more than you do, so make money to make films of the stories you know better. From the little income I make from freelance jobs as a cinematographer, I decide to tell this short story of this family in Kibera that I witnessed going through this life in real-time but acted in the film 'Raindrops'. It happened when I was doing a model photoshoot next to these two kids (not the ones in the film) house in Kibera. This occurrence has been happening and is still happening to date to many different families in this same village and the most affected are children as they fall sick to the extent that they may lose their lives.
