Dominic is a lecturer in Film & Television at Edinburgh College, Scotland. He has a passion for visual media and teaching Scotland's off screen talent of tomorrow.
Term holidays allow Dominic time to create his own independent, lo-no budget short films, often as a one man crew. These films have seen him receive awards for his Directing, Cinematography and Editing.
His latest film (a first attempt at an animated short film) "Rainbow-Man" won the 'Best Director' award in the Worldwide 48x2 Animation Project.
The Rainbow is a symbol for many things, but in this film, it represents hope.
Hope that, one day (hopefully soon) these dark times will be behind us.
Hope that light and colour may once again fill our lives.
Just as the eponymous Rainbow-Man inspires hope in the people around him…
... it is my hope that this film can kindle hope in the hearts of those who watch it.
I hope🌈
