Rafael Portillo is an accomplished filmmaker and editor, who is known for his short film, "The Donor," starring Tom Sizemore, and Robert LaSardo.
Rafael Anthony Portillo was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Tiodora Portillo, a Mexican immigrant, and Rafael Antonio Portillo, a Salvadoran immigrant, who became an established engineering technician. Portillo grew up idolizing Sylvester Stallone, Quentin Tarantino, and Martin Scorsese.
Portillo met Charles Lago, a Producer and Talent Manager, and moved to California to pursue his passion of filmmaking. He now works in the film industry full time, with the help of his mentors, Charles Lago and Tom Sizemore.
