Radio Silence

Harper believes she is the lone survivor of the apocalypse until she
discovers a walkie talkie with a voice speaking on the other end.
She quickly realizes that the responder button is broken
and the other person can not hear her. Days pass as she attempts
to fix the walkie talkie, while the voice on the other end slowly
succumbs to the isolation. Harper finally finds a repair manual and
races to fix the walkie talkie as the voice contemplates ending her life.

Director Statement

Radio Silence is a story about isolation and connection. Loneliness is one of the greatest obstacles to a healthy and meaningful life, yet it is one that we all face at one time or another. We wanted to push this solitude to the great extreme while also depicting the salvation of meaningful connection. Despite the heavy, isolating nature of the subject matter, the creation of this film brought together a wonderful sense of community within the crew. I am overjoyed to have worked with such talented and compassionate people and I think we made something truly heartfelt.
