Rabijita Gogoi is a story teller based in India for stage mainly for last twenty five years. She had received Aka Abong Koyekjon youth achiver award in 2005, Ushtad Bismillah Khan Award from Central Sangeet Natak Academy, India in 2006, Sher Choudhary Excellence Award in 2021 for her contribution in theatre Art in India. She have directed Theatre productions in many Indian languages like Assamese, Hindi, English, Malayalam, Kanada , Karbi, Bodo, Nagamees Etc. Till now, she have been directed more than 40 plays across India.

Before this short film (The Solar Noon), She had produced , written and directed Teli Drama Serials like Swayamshidhya in Hindi Language, Pakhi Loga Maas in Assamese Language for Indian TV Channels , Directed Documentary films like Bonor Jeevan on Kaziranga wild Life Century , Mulsunti based on Insurgency Issue in Assam, Invisible theatre about her theatre works etc .'The Solar Noon' is her first film as director and producer. After that she produced three more short fiction films and Directed one titled as 'She'.
